wow. awesome awesome detail o.o
the lighting effects on each scales are well done and i especially love those eyes, which seem to be very deep
this piece earns a fave in my eyes
Hexdragon, eh? Interesting design, looks rather alien-like, especially with the multiple glowy eyes. Very sinister. But woah! A++ on the detail, Gwydd! It always sems like you spend forever on the scales, but it's all worth it in the end with the great effect it makes. I think the background could use a bit of work (the water looks, well, scribbly), but the hexdragon is SUPERB! Quick question, though: What exactly are it's extra set of arms doing? Because from where I sit, it looks like there swept back like wings would normally be, except...well, they're not wings, they're arms. It just seems a little out of place to me. But I'm no artist, so my critiquing might be completely wrong, I'm just commenting on what I see. Don't take it the wrong way, I critique because I care .
Still, super awesome job on this piece, well worth the 20+ hours you spent on it! Keep up the good artistry!
Wowow! The eyes on this one really pop out at ya. I'm so glad you finished this. It's way freaking awesome. I love all the scales on the dragon. There's just so much amazing detail. The texture on the rocks is really nice. The only real crit I could have on this is the reflection of the moon in the water could be blended a little more. The style there just doesn't fit in with the smoothness of the dragon.
