I meant to draw this about a year ago but didn't get around to it until now!
I love the concept of Torterra (turtles in general are made of win, plus it reminds me of A'Tuin and that's awesome) but hate the way it's portrayed in all of Pokemon's official artwork. JUST LOOK AT IT. It doesn't even look like it's capable of walking! How is it even possible to mess up a turtle-based creature that badly? ARGH. SO, I decided to draw it in a way that's about three times more believable but still more or less true to the original design! I'm pretty sure I succeeded. Also, that pathetic simplistic background works way too well with this picture. Edit: A few hours after initially uploading this I made some small but vastly improving edits mostly regarding the composition. Media: Photoshop Time: Around five hours.
